1. Environment
- Install this page first: open the browser menu and use "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". Then open it from the home screen icon.
- Tap the button below which matches what the browser menu offered.
- Tap Start.
2. Recording with the screen off
- Tap Start and allow the microphone.
- Keep talking, or play music near the phone.
- Press the power button so the screen goes off. Wait 60 seconds (count or use a second phone).
- Turn the screen on, come back to this app, tap Stop.
3. App killed mid-recording
- Tap Start and talk for about 20 seconds.
- Open the recent apps view and swipe this app away (do not tap anything here first).
- Open the app again from the home screen. The list below shows what was saved. Tap Play to listen.
4. Camera
- Tap "Take photo" and take any photo.
- Leave the app, open your Gallery or Google Photos app and look for that photo. Come back and answer.
- Then try "In-app camera": allow the camera, tap Snap.
5. Photo location data removed
- Tap "Pick photo" and choose a photo from your gallery that was taken with location switched on (any outdoor photo from the camera app).
- Wait for the result. "After" should say GPS: no and Make: none.
6. Password speed (Argon2id)
- Tap Start and wait. It runs three settings, the first is the heaviest.
- If the app closes or reloads by itself, open it again: the card will say where it crashed.
7. PDF and Word export at full size
- Tap Start and wait (it can take a few minutes). It makes 120 diary entries and 200 photos inside the phone.
- Do not leave the app while it runs. If it closes by itself, open it again: the card will say where it crashed.
- Saving the files is optional.
8. Attach a recording
- First record about one minute with the phone's own recorder app (Samsung: Voice Recorder).
- Come back, tap "Pick recording" and choose that file.
